The ancient lands of what is now Torrevento, have always represented fertility and prosperity. The land celebrates a rich history embracing a 17th Century Monastery as well as Castel del Monte. Castel del Monte was once inhabited by Frederick II and stands tall, proudly representing the Torrevento Estate. Since 1989, the Torrevento Winery has dominated the hills of the Alta Murgia highlands in Corato, Apulglia. Winemaking at the Torrevento Winery began in 1948 when brothers Francescoand Dominic Liatonio barvested and produced local wines through aniquated methods.
